Putin says met with commanders of forces in special operation zone, calls them professionals

MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he met with commanders of the groups of forces in the special military operation zone in the evening the day before, adding that he admires their skills and professionalism.

"It made a very good, positive impression. All of these people are mature, serious, but are quite young in terms of age. They are professionals who dedicate themselves to their work entirely and are aware of what they are doing today and what they should do tomorrow and the day after tomorrow," Putin said at a meeting with the winners of state awards and Heroes of Labor who received medals from the president in the Kremlin on Wednesday.

"We have an excellent generation of commanders today both at a high level and at a lower level," he said.

"As our people say, you get a feeling of hope when you talk to people of such a level and class," Putin said.
