Putin: Russia to continue to support N. Korean people in their fight to freely choose development path

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Russia will continue to support the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in its struggle for independence and the right to make its own choice of a development path, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Russia has incessantly supported and will support the DPRK and the heroic Korean people in their struggle against the treacherous, dangerous and aggressive enemy, in their fight for independence, identity and the right to freely choose their development path," Putin said in his article for the Rodong Sinmun newspaper ahead of his visit to North Korea.
