MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian forces have struck the command posts of three Ukrainian brigades and downed 43 Ukrainian drones in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, [and] missile forces and artillery of the Russian groups of forces have struck the command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 5th Assault Brigade and 54th and 92nd Mechanized Brigades and concentrations of enemy troops and military hardware in 124 areas," the ministry said.
Air defense has downed 43 Ukrainian drones, ten HIMARS projectiles, and three Hammers guided air bombs, it said.
"In total, 613 planes, 276 helicopters, 25,934 unmanned aerial vehicles, 531 air defense missile systems, 16,374 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,344 multiple rocket launchers, 10,645 artillery systems and mortars, and 22,687 special vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation," it said.
