MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Alexander Venediktov and Iranian Supreme National Security Council Deputy Secretary Mohammad Mohammadi Alamouti have held security consultations in Tehran, the Russian Security Council said on Wednesday.
"The parties had an in-depth discussion on interaction on security between Russia and Iran and the implementation of some common projects. Apart from that, they exchanged opinions on problems of regional and global security," it said.
Officials from a number of Russian and Iranian ministries and other agencies also took part in the talks, it said.
