PYONGYANG. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has concluded his state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, personally accompanied the Russian president to Pyongyang Airport to say goodbye to him near the plane's boarding stairs.
In all, the two leaders conversed for over 11 hours during Putin's visit.
As soon as Putin and Kim stepped onto the red carpet, a military band started playing the Song of Happiness, the entrance music composed specially for the DPRK's founder, Kim Il Sung.
The North Korean leader and the Russian president walked past thousands of people greeting them by waving flowers, flags, and balloons. Kim and Putin also had a brief talk near the plane's stairs.
