MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - U.S. Ambassador to Russia Lynne Tracy was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Monday, and a demarche was made over the use of U.S. weapons in the attack on Sevastopol, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"A demarche was made to chief of the U.S. mission to Russia Lynne Tracy, [who was] summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 24," the ministry said in a statement on its website.
The ministry explained the demarche in terms of "the targeted Ukrainian missile strike on Sevastopol that caused numerous casualties, including children."
