BRUSSELS. June 24 (Interfax) - The European Union on Monday included Russian Federal Property Agency head Vadim Yakovenko, Russian Navy Commander Alexander Moiseyev, and 114 other entities and individuals in its 14th sanctions package against Russia, the EU Official Journal said.
EU sanctions have been applied to State Secretary of the Russia-Belarus Union State Dmitry Mezentsev, Deputy Construction and Utilities Ministers Konstantin Mikhailik, Alexei Yeresko, and Yury Gordeyev, and dozens of other deputy ministers.
The updated EU sanctions list also includes Oryol region Governor Andrei Klychkov and journalist and head of the Institute for Internet Development autonomous nonprofit organization Alexei Goreslavsky.
The list includes a number of officials from investigative and judicial agencies in Crimea, including those from local military courts.
The sanctions also targeted six presumed authors of cyberattacks that Brussels sees as having threatened the EU and its member states.
