Electronic warfare systems destroy 32 Ukrainian drones over Kursk region in past day

MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Acting Kursk region governor Alexei Smirnov has reported multiple Ukrainian drone attacks on the region during the day on Thursday.

"Electronic warfare systems in border areas eliminated and neutralized 32 Ukrainian drones during the day," Smirnov said on Telegram.

Residential areas and facilities subjected to attacks during the day included village Obukhovka and Gordeyevka in the Korenevo district, the Sudzha border crossing, villages Zaoleshenka, Guyevo and hamlet Oleshnya in the Sudzha district, settlement Tyotkino, village Vesyoloye and small village Yelizavetovka in the Glushkovo district, and hamlet Kucherov in the Belovo district. No casualties have been reported, Smirnov said.

Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacks were spotted and Ukrainian copters dropped explosives near Tyotkino, Vesyoloye, village Khodeikovo, hamlet Zarya in the Glushkovo district, village Nikolayevo-Daryino in the Sudzha district, and village Lokot in the Rylsk district.
