MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - Russia-EU relations have bad prospects, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, following the EU summit's approval of Kaja Kallas as the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy.
"Mrs. Kallas [...] has not shown a knack for diplomacy thus far, she is well known to us by her absolutely irreconcilable or even rabidly Russophobic remarks. So, we do not think that European diplomacy will contribute to normalizing relations in any way. Moscow-Brussels relations have bad prospects," Peskov told reporters when commenting on Kallas's appointment.
