MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - Russia's Admiral Gorshkov frigate armed with guided missile weapons and Academic Pashin replenishment tanker have begun a visit to Venezuela, the Northern Fleet said in a statement on Tuesday.
"A squadron of Northern Fleet ships consisting of the Admiral Gorshkov frigate and Academic Pashin medium-sized replenishment tanker have paid a business visit to the Venezuelan port of La Guaira," the statement said.
"The business visit will last several days, after which the Northern Fleet sailors will continue with their missions in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean," it said.
