BAKU. July 3 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kazakhstan on July 3 to attend a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
"Aliyev arrived in Astana on July 3 at the invitation of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to participate in the organization's summit," a statement published on the Azerbaijani leader's website said.
Aliyev will take part in a SCO summit for the second time. Previously, he attended the organization's summit in the Uzbek city of Samarkand in September 2022.
Azerbaijan is the SCO's dialogue partner.
