MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - A strike by an Iskander missile system destroyed the Ukrainian army's MiG-29 fighter jet at the Dolgintsevo airfield in the Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"An Iskander missile system unit of the Russian Armed Forces delivered a missile strike on aircraft parking space at the Dolgintsevo airfield. A Ukrainian Armed Forces MiG-29 plane, air-launched weapons and vehicles of the aviation engineering service were destroyed by the strike," it said.
