ASTANA. July 4 (Interfax) - The pro-active, energetic stance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in global affairs is in demand in the contemporary world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Dear colleagues, there is no doubt that the pro-active, energetic stance of the SCO in global affairs is in demand at the time of swift, irreversible changes in the world," Putin said at a meeting of the SCO Council of the Heads of State in Astana on Thursday.
