Damage to Raduga substation transformers from drone strike has no effect on power supply to Zaporozhye NPP - plant administration

ROSTOV-ON-DON. July 4 (Interfax) - The damage done to the Raduga power substation in Energodar by a Ukrainian drone strike has not affected power supply to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, plant representatives said on Thursday.

"The damage done to Raduga sub-station transformers has not affected power supply to the plant, which continues normally," the plant administration said on Telegram.

Defects affecting the plant's safety have not been detected. "Radiation levels at the site are normal," the statement said.

Three Ukrainian drones attacked the Raduga substation on Wednesday, causing damage to two transformers and injuring plant employees.
