Istanbul agreements 2022 could become basis for Ukraine dialogue - Peskov

ASTANA. July 4 (Interfax) - The 2022 Istanbul agreements over Ukrainian conflict settlement could become a basis for future negotiations, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

"The president said repeatedly that they could become a basis for starting the dialogue," Peskov told journalists on Thursday.

This is about the very principle of approaching the peaceful settlement stipulated in those agreements, he said. "But we see the Ukrainian side, too, is rejecting it," he said.
