MOSCOW. July 5 (Interfax) - One child has died in a Ukrainian drone attack on the town of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia's Krasnodar Territory, governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
"A six-year-old girl died in hospital after sustaining injuries in a drone attack on Primorsko-Akhtarsk," Kondratyev said on his Telegram channel on Friday.
Kondratyev said earlier that six people were injured in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
"Six people, among them two children, were admitted to hospitals. All of them are receiving necessary medical aid," he said.
A three-story apartment building was also damaged in the strike, prompting the evacuation of its tenants, Kondratyev said. The operations of a substation supplying electricity to a large area in Primorsko-Akhtarsk were disrupted.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that on-duty air defense forces destroyed 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Krasnodar Territory.
