Two Ukrainian drones downed over Voronezh region - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Two Ukrainian fixed-wing drones have been downed over the Voronezh region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"Air defense units on duty have destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the Voronezh region," the ministry said.

That happened between 9:40 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., it said.

The region's governor Alexander Gusev said, for his part, that air defense units on duty have spotted and destroyed a number of fixed-wing drones over the Voronezh region. "According to the preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage," Gusev said on Telegram.
