Tusk, Zelensky to discuss prospects of Ukraine's entry into NATO

WARSAW. July 8 (Interfax) - The prospects of Ukraine's entry into NATO will be an item on the agenda of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Warsaw, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Szejna said on Radio Poland on Monday.

"Prime Minister Tusk and President Zelensky will discuss Ukraine's membership in NATO," Szejna said, adding that the sides will touch upon "other problems that could be faced in the near future." The radio said it was a possible replacement of the U.S. president.

Zelensky also plans to meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

Other details of Zelensky's visit to Warsaw are not reported.

It is only known that Zelensky will make a stopover in Poland on his way to Washington.
