Russian Baltic Fleet pilots practice bombing mock enemy's ground targets

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Sukhoi Su-30SM and Su-24 marine aircraft have practiced bombing a mock enemy's ground targets, the Russian Baltic Fleet's press service said on Saturday.

"The pilots dropped bombs and hit targets by plane guns while on training missions," it said.

The scheduled exercise involved over 15 Su-24 and Su-30SM crews and about 300 pilots, engineers and technicians, it said.

"The crews used air bombs of various classes and plane guns during the drill. The command said the exercise objective was achieved," it said.
