Four dead, 20 injured in overnight attack on Russia's Belgorod region - governor

MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - Four people died and 20 others were injured in a Ukrainian attack on Russia's Belgorod region last night, the region's Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"Four civilians died and 20 more sustained injuries. Seventeen people are still in hospitals, among them two in critical condition. Necessary medical aid is being provided to all of them," Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

Around 160 apartments in residential buildings, 60 private houses and some 140 cars were damaged over the past day, he said. All emergency services have been put on alert. Repairs are ongoing.
