Russia does not strike civilian targets in Ukraine - Peskov

MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - Russia does not strike civilian targets, and Russian Defense Ministry has said that an interceptor missile fell near a hospital in Kiev, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"I invite you to rely on the Russian Defense Ministry's statement, which has absolutely ruled out that there have been strikes upon any civilian targets. It said it was an antimissile," Peskov said in commenting on the incident to journalists on Tuesday.

"And we still insist that we do not strike civilian targets, strikes have been carried out upon critical infrastructure elements and military targets that are related to the regime's military capability one way or another," he said.
