LONDON. July 18 (Interfax) -The United Kingdom has placed 11 oil tankers on its Russia sanctions lists, updated information on the sanctions from the UK government suggests.
Two of the oil tankers belong to the Sovcomflot, Russia's largest shipping company. They are flying the flags of Panama and Gabon, according to the document.
The remaining oil tankers from the list are registered under the Gabonese and Cook Islands flags.
It is noted in the sanctions lists that these oil tankers, in London's view, are linked to the Ukraine situation. It is also said in the document that they are used to transport Russian oil and oil products from Russia to third countries.
