TULA. Aug 16 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Armed Forces have attacked two villages in the Belgorod region with drones, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked another two populated areas in the Belgorod region with drones. No casualties were caused," Gladkov wrote on Telegram on Friday.
Three drones attacked the village of Tishanka in the Volokonovka district, damaging a power transmission line, which left the residents of several streets without electricity for some time, he said.
Emergency services will start repairs after getting clearance from the Defense Ministry, Gladkov said.
Another drone dropped an explosive device on the village of Baitsury in the Borisovka district, piercing the roof of a single-family house, he said. The consequences of the attack have yet to be determined, he said.
