Three injured in Ukrainian attack on Russia's Belgorod region - governor

MOSCOW. Aug 21 (Interfax) - Three people have been injured in a Ukrainian attack on Russia's Belgorod region, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"An FPV drone attacked a passenger car in the community of Malinovka in the Belgorod district. Two people have been injured. The spouses who suffered mine blast injuries and various shrapnel wounds are being brought to the regional clinical hospital by ambulance crews. All necessary assistance is being provided. A car is damaged," Gladkov wrote on Telegram on Wednesday.

At the same time, a woman who was injured in an attack on the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka sought medical aid.

"A passenger car burned up completely as a drone blew up in the village of Novoye in the Volokonovka district. Another drone struck the village of Tishanka in the Volokonovka district and damaged a gas pipe. Emergency services will begin restoration work after coordination with the Russian Defense Ministry," Gladkov added.

A private house was destroyed in an attack on the village of Kozinka in the Graivoron urban district, he said. The roofs of a social facility and an administrative building were broken in the attacks of several kamikaze drones on the village.
