MOSCOW. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Aircraft of the U.S.-led coalition have continued to create dangerous situations in the Syrian airspace, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria Capt. 1st Rank Oleg Ignasyuk said.
"Four violations of the deconfliction protocols dated December 9, 2019 by flights of the coalition's unmanned aerial vehicles uncoordinated with the Russian side were recorded over the day," Ignasyuk said at a press briefing on Wednesday.
Eight violations of the Syrian airspace by coalition aircraft, including by a pair of F-15 fighter jets and three violations by a pair of A-10 attack planes, were recorded in the al-Tanf area over the day, he said.
No attacks on positions of Syrian government forces by terrorist groups were recorded in the Idlib de-escalation area in the past 24 hours, Ignasyuk said.
