VOLGOGRAD. Aug 22 (Interfax) - Russia's Volgograd airport has restricted arrivals and departures following a drone attack, and the use of the region's airspace has also been restricted, the airport's press service told Interfax.
"The Volgograd airport has temporarily halted arrivals and departures due to the restrictions imposed on the use of the region's airspace," the press service said.
Air defense repelled a drone attack near Marinovka last night, the Volgograd region's Governor Andrei Bocharov said on Thursday morning. A falling drone sparked fire on the territory a Russian Defense Ministry facility, causing no casualties.
