KRASNODAR. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Rescuers are searching for the last crewmember of the train ferry attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kavkaz port on Thursday, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory said.
"Out of 17 persons rescued from the ferry in the Kavkaz port, four have been admitted to the Kerch hospital, and the rest are treated as outpatients," the headquarters said.
The headquarters said on Thursday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a train ferry carrying fuel tanks in the Kavkaz port, the ferry sustained damage and sank.
Governor of the Krasnodar territory Veniamin Kondratyev said 17 crewmembers were rescued.
According to head of the Temryuk district in the Krasnodar Territory Fyodor Babenkov, the ferry was transporting 30 fuel tanks. Booms were installed to contain a fuel spill, and the surface was treated with a sorbent.
