MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Russian forces conducted 16 combined strikes on Ukrainian airbase infrastructure, ammo depots and hangars storing NASAMS air defense missile systems using precision-guided weapons and attack drones over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"On August 17-23, the Russian Armed Forces conducted 16 combined strikes on airbase infrastructure, ammo, missile and artillery depots, workshops repairing weapons and military hardware of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and hangars storing NASAMS air defense missile systems with precision-guided weapons and attack drones," the ministry said.
The strikes hit fuel depots supplying Ukrainian military hardware, concentrations of reserves, and temporary bases of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries, it said.
"All designated targets were hit," it said.
