MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax) - The villages of Rzhevka and Murom in the Shebekino town district, the town of Shebekino, the village of Baitsury in the Borisovka district, the village of Kukuyevka in the Valuiki town district, and the village of Tishanka in the Volokonovka district in Russia's Belgorod region have come under attack, no one was injured, the region's governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
"In Rzhevka, Shebekino town district, a repeat attack resulted in damage to a wall of a house and windows smashed in another two. In Murom, the attack destroyed a structure adjacent to a property. In Shebekino, the rooftop of a property was damaged after air defenses repelled a Ukrainian aerial attack," Gladkov said on Telegram on Friday evening.
In Baitsury, an attack by drones caused the building of a social facility to catch fire, the blaze was quickly put out with a fire extinguisher issued earlier. Two drones detonated causing rood damage in two two-apartment blocs.
"In Kukuyevka, Valuiki town district, a kamikaze drone detonated on the grounds of property smashing windows in the house, chipping the fence and piercing the roof of a nearby structure. In Tishanka, Volokonovka district, drones dropped explosive devices, damaging two cars," Gladkov said.
