MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - An Omsk resident gathering information about a local defense plant on the orders from Ukrainian security services has been detained, and a criminal case has been opened on treason counts, the Federal Security Service (FSB) said.
"It was found that the detainee was gathering information, photo and video materials about operations of a defense enterprise in the Omsk region and sharing them with Ukrainian security services," the FSB said.
The investigative department of the FSB branch in the Omsk region opened a criminal case on treason counts.
The FSB withheld the detainee's name and other case details.
