MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Ukrainian forces have lost over 400 troops in the Kursk sector in the past 24 hours, bringing their total casualties to 6,200, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Over the past day, the Ukrainian army lost over 400 troops and 27 armored vehicles, including one tank, two infantry vehicles, three armored personnel carriers, and 21 armored combat vehicles, as well as five artillery systems, two mortars, 11 trucks, and a U.S.-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-mortar radar," it said.
Since the beginning of hostilities in the Kursk sector, the Ukrainian army has lost over 6,200 troops, 73 tanks, 33 infantry vehicles, 61 armored personnel carriers, 404 armored combat vehicles, 188 trucks, 42 artillery systems, five air defense systems, 11 multiple rocket launchers including three HIMARS and one MLRS, nine electronic warfare stations, two counterbattery radars, an air defense radar, and five engineering vehicles including two combat engineering vehicles and one UR-77 demining vehicle, it said.
