MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - The Russian military has carried out strikes on 12 Ukrainian brigades near 16 communities in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Tactical aviation carried out strikes on the concentrations of troops and military hardware of the reserves of the 22nd, 41st and 54th Mechanized Brigades, the 17th Tank Brigade, and the 80th, 82nd and 95th Airborne Assault Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 36th Marine Brigade and the 1st National Guard Brigade, as well as the 103rd, 106th and 129th Territorial Defense Brigades near Belopolye, Bunyakino, Boyaro-Lezhichi, Baranovka, Druzhba, Zapselye, Katerinovka, Malushino, Pervomaiskoye, Orlovka, Pustogorod, Svessa, Sumy, Khoten, Chervonoye and Yastrebinoye in the Sumy region," the ministry said.
