Russian bomber strikes Ukrainian units in Kursk region's border areas

MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - A Sukhoi Su-34 bomber aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces has carried out a strike on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' troops and armored hardware in the border areas of the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"A strike on previously uncovered camouflaged targets of the enemy was carried out using upgraded air bombs with a universal glide and correction module," it said.

The Russian bomber returned to its airfield after receiving confirmation from reconnaissance units that the Ukrainian army's troops and hardware were destroyed, it said.

The Defense Ministry also published video footage of the strike on Monday.
