Putin orders steps to facilitate employment of people evacuated from 3 border regions

MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked the government and the administrations of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions with helping people evacuated from these regions' border areas find new jobs.

"The government of the Russian Federation together with the administrations of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions must facilitate the employment of citizens evacuated from the territory of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions," the list of instructions published on the Kremlin website on Monday said.

Putin also ordered the government and the authorities in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions to ensure that citizens affected by the emergency receive one-off financial assistance without having to submit applications.

A report detailing the fulfilment of these instructions should be submitted before September 15, 2024, the Kremlin website said.
