BELGOROD. Aug 27 - Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has warned against trusting online reports alleging attempted incursions into the region from Ukraine.
"There is information alleging that the enemy is trying to break through the border in the Belgorod region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the border situation remains complicated but controllable. Our military is working as planned. Please remain calm and trust only official sources of information," Gladkov said on Telegram on Tuesday.
A number of Telegram channels claimed that Ukrainian forces were trying to break through the border near Nekhoteyevka and the Shebekino border checkpoint in the Shebekino urban district in the Belgorod region.
