Number of Belgorod residents injured by Ukrainian attacks rises to 11 - governor

BELGOROD. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Two more residents of Shebekino in the Belgorod region required medical aid after suffering injuries from Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Monday, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"Six civilians were injured in attacks on the town of Shebekino. Two of them requested medical aid on their own following the morning attack. Five of the six injured were provided with outpatient support, and one was admitted to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Doctors assessed his state as moderately serious," the governor wrote on Telegram on Tuesday.

A kamikaze drone struck a private house injuring three women in the village of Kosilovo in the Graivoron urban district on Monday, he said.

"They were admitted to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2 with fragmentation wounds of varying degrees. Doctors assessed their state as moderately serious. All the necessary aid is being provided," Gladkov said.

A man and a woman from the village of Repyakhovka also arrived at the Krasnaya Yaruga district hospital to request medical assistance after being injured by a drone attack. After receiving medical aid, they were released home for outpatient treatment, Gladkov said.
