Eleven children injured during Kursk region evacuation - ombudsman

VORONEZH. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Eleven children have been injured in Ukrainian attacks during the evacuation of the border areas in Russia's Kursk region, the regional children's rights commissioner Natalya Listopadova told a briefing on Tuesday.

"In total, eleven children were injured during the evacuation, including a girl today. All of the children are receiving assistance. Four are being treated at Moscow clinics. One child is critical and the condition of three others is of moderate severity," Listopadova said.

The children, who were treated at the regional children's clinic hospital, have been discharged in satisfactory condition, she said.
