MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Moscow's Lefortovsky District Court has granted the investigators' motions to place two Colombians under arrest in a probe into mercenary activities, the court's press service told Interfax.
"The court has selected custody as a measure of restraint with respect to Ante Alexander and Medina Aranda Jose Aron for the period until October 22, 2024," the court's press service said on Wednesday.
The court heard the motions on August 26.
The two are suspects in a mercenarism case, the court said.
According to media, the Colombian nationals took part in warfare on the Ukrainian side.
