Several people injured in drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region - governor

VORONEZH. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Drones have attacked three communities in the Belgorod region, governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"A man was injured in the village of Novoye in the Volokonovka district when a drone dropped two bombs. [...] Self-defense members were sent to evacuate the injured, and one of them was hurt in another attack by a hostile drone," Gladkov said on Telegram on Friday.

Both injured persons were rushed to the Valuiki Central District Hospital, he said.

The drones damaged a car and a private house's roof in the village, Gladkov said.

Drones also hit the village of Baitsury in the Borisovka district damaging the roofs of two private houses, he said.

Another FPV drone attacked a social facility in the village of Vyazovoye in the Krasnaya Yaruga district.

Gladkov said earlier on Friday that two people were injured in a drone strike and rushed to a hospital. One of those injured is Igor Startsev, head of the Malinovka rural settlement, who went to examine the village of Petrovka that was attacked by drones.
