MOSCOW. Sept 3 (Interfax) - Russian forces have struck Ukrainian reserves near 15 communities in the Sumy region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Tactical aircraft hit concentrations of reserve troops and hardware of the 22nd, 41st and 61st Mechanized Brigades, the 80th and 82nd Air Assault Brigades, and the 92nd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 101st, 103rd, 119th and 129th Territorial Defense Brigades, and the 1st and 17th Ukrainian National Guard Brigades near the communities of Belopolye, Vorozhba, Velikaya Pisarevka, Glukhov, Miropolye, Novaya Sech, Novoivanovka, Pavlovka, Pustogorod, Pogrebki, Starye Verki, Stukalovka, Sumy, Khoten and Yunakovka in the Sumy region," the ministry said in a statement.
Search for Ukrainian sabotage groups in forests which are attempting incursions into Russian territory underway, the statement said.
Aircraft, artillery and troops struck concentrations of troops and hardware of eight Ukrainian brigades near the communities of Apanasovka, Borki, Vishnevka, Viktorovka, Gordeyevka, Kositsa, Krasnooktyabrskoye, Knyazhy Pervy, Kurilovka, Lyubimovka, Martynovka, Mikhailovka, Malaya Loknya, Novoivanovka, Orlovka, Plekhovo and Snagost in the Kursk region, it said.
