Level of U.S. involvement in Ukraine conflict keeps rising - Peskov

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 4 (Interfax) - There are no prerequisites for the level of U.S. involvement in the Ukrainian conflict to stop growing, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The level of U.S. involvement in the Ukraine conflict keeps rising, and there are no grounds for now to believe that it will reach a certain point and stop," Peskov told reporters.

As to whether a potential decision of Washington to allow strikes on the Russian territory by U.S.-made weapons could be a point of no return in Russia-U.S. relations, Peskov said, "You mean a decision to strike deep inside the Russian territory, as U.S.-made weapons are already being used for constant strikes on the Russian territory. Obviously, the Ukrainians will be doing it, we take the whole thing into account, and Washington is already involved in this conflict."
