YEREVAN. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Yerevan does not rule out further delegating powers to private organizations to ensure the security of transport links between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"Yes, the prime minister of Armenia said this is possible. There are no other details at the moment," Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
A private security enterprise in this case needs to ensure the security of sites that run through Azerbaijan, and border guards and customs officials will be present at the two countries' border, he said.
