Russian Defense Ministry reports finding Ukrainian munitions while ensuring safe rotation of IAEA mission at ZNPP

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Russian military personnel have facilitated a safe rotation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s mission at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) conducted by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.

"To this end, a ceasefire was declared from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. along the passage route starting from the destroyed bridge near the community of Kamenskoye, which Russian troops strictly observed," it said.

"While inspecting the road at the passage site, Russian engineers discovered foreign-made explosive munitions left from new systematic attacks from the Ukrainian side in the near vicinity of the Zaporozhye NPP," the ministry said.
