Russia-China relations developing quite well in every area - Putin (Part 2)

ST. PETERSBURG. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced plans to discuss progress in the development of bilateral relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the BRICS summit in Kazan in October.

"As to bilateral relations, they have been developing quite well, and in every area. This includes our coordinated work on the world stage, as well as economic cooperation and the cultural and humanitarian tracks," Putin said at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

"All of that remains on our agenda and will be among topics of our discussion with the Chinese president at multilateral and bilateral meetings in Kazan," Putin said.

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu is taking part in the Putin-Wang meeting.
