ROSTOV-ON-DON. Sept 16 (Interfax) - The Leninsky District Court in Rostov-on-Don has arrested a native of a Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) country on suspicion of plotting sabotage in Russia, the press service for the Federal Security Service (FSB) branch in the Rostov region told Interfax on Monday.
"The Leninsky District Court has placed him under arrest for two months," the press service said.
As reported earlier, the FSB detained a CIS citizen on suspicion of plotting sabotage in Russia.
Investigators said he received sabotage and terrorist training in a field camp in the Kiev region before coming to Russia and making two improvised bombs he planned to use on orders from Ukrainian security services.
A criminal case was opened on counts of sabotage plot, illegal production of explosives, and illegal production, remodeling or repairs of explosive devices.
