ST. PETERSBURG. Sept 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting a leading Russian manufacturer of drones and other special hardware, Special Technology Center.
Putin chaired a meeting on current aspects of the Russian Armed Forces development amid the special military operation on Wednesday and said he planned to continue discussing the strengthening and enhancement of the Russian Armed Forces' combat readiness on Thursday.
Special Technology Center was founded in 2001. It is a leading manufacturer of special hardware, automated radio monitoring and information security systems, EW systems, drones and communication systems. Its clients are federal, law enforcement and security agencies. The Center's products have proven effective at the Russian Defense Ministry's ranges, in real combat conditions, and in the special military operation. The company has licenses from the Defense Ministry and the Federal Security Service, in addition to commercial licenses.
