MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Andrej Danko, deputy chairman of the National Council (parliament) of Slovakia and leader of the Slovak National Party, which is part of the government coalition, is planning to visit Moscow in November to discuss the possible end of Russian gas transit via Ukraine with State Duma members, the newspaper Izvestia said on Monday.

"I want to come to Moscow and discuss the problem. I have an official invitation from [State Duma speaker Vyacheslav] Volodin, who is my great friend. I have always said that I want a good relationship with the Russian Federation. I think I will come to Moscow in November," Izvestia quoted Danko as saying.

He told Izvestia that the Slovak ruling coalition takes the possible termination of gas supply to Slovakia seriously.
