Yerevan ready to sign peace agreement with Baku - Pashinyan at meeting with Erdogan

YEREVAN. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about Yerevan's readiness to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan when they met in New York.

"Prime Minister Pashinyan briefed President Erdogan on the status of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process, the readiness to sign a settlement agreement, and the Armenian government's Crossroads of Peace initiative," the Armenian government's press service said.

Pashinyan and Erdogan "discussed in detail the steps taken earlier and the agreements reached within the process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations," the press service said.

"The readiness to continue the normalization process without preconditions and to give a fresh impetus to the relations was underlined. Additionally, the sides discussed regional affairs," it said.
