Peskov: Major states involved in Nord Stream terror attacks

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Major states played a role in masterminding and perpetrating the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Thursday.

"Our special services have information that it is unlikely that such an act of sabotage and terrorist act against critical infrastructure could have been staged by a small group of people, virtually by people acting on their own and using private money," Peskov said.

"It is also about major states' involvement in organizing and perpetrating that act of sabotage," Peskov said.

"The intelligence information that we have shows clearly that the attacks on the pipelines are an act of international terrorism and an act of the Anglo-Saxons' economic war against European allies, above all Germany," the press office of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service said earlier.
