Ukrainian Army loses over 17,400 troops in Kursk sector to date - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Army has lost over 340 troops in the Kursk sector in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the overall casualties in that area to more than 17,400, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

"Over the past day, the Ukrainian Army lost more than 340 troops, 12 armored combat vehicles, four artillery systems, and 11 trucks," the statement said.

"In all, the enemy has lost over 17,400 troops since the start of hostilities in the Kursk sector," it said.
